after arizona last weekend, i drove with my sister and the babes to encinitas, california (where her husband's family lives). unfortunately nicolaus had to go back to provo for work so he couldn't come with. and tessa's hub left for a nicaraguan surf trip so it was just me, tessa, the in-laws and a whole lotta cute little ones.

there was lots of good sisterly/niece bonding time. we went to the beach, shopped, got gelato, swam and did all sorts of good stuff. i can't believe how big and smart gwenna is these days. she has the cutest little personality. and lilla is the sweetest most cuddly little baby. i love my family so much and just wished that we all lived closer to each other. maybe one day. for now, the occasional road trip will have to suffice :)
