when nicolaus and i went out late one night to shoot my ten frame assignment, it included a lot of frozen fingers, fishing line, puppeteering and experimentation. turns out, some of my favorite shots were only taken to test the camera settings. which is good reminder of the beauty that can come from a lack of control.
