+ yoga and the sauna with abigayle.
i promise there is nothing in the world that will make your body feel better than this combination of activities.
friday:
+ had a stay-at-home-and-make-breakfast date with zee hubs.
+ boring, productive stuff.
+ went running.
+ abigayle and i visited the boys (nick and mo) at work (they both work at the skate shop milosport) and brought them some hot chocolate. then we bought lots of oreos and redboxed the place beyond the pines. abigayle hated it and i loved it. haha if really sad movies frustrate you, then it's probably not for you. but if you're a weirdo like me and love a good heart-wrenching, thought-provoking movie then it is a MUST SEE.
saturday:
+ breakfast club with the lady friends. definitely turned into a 3-hour-long girl talk session :)
+ chores and homework.
+ went to a fancy banquet/award ceremony with the girls in nick's family. they all ride or have ridden in horse shows and attend this banquet every year. it was my first time going with them and it was fun to get all dressed up and see my little sister-in-law win some ribbons.
sunday:
+ church and a missionary farewell for our cute friend caley.
+ we threw a family birthday dinner at our home for my dad. we ate a whole lot of delicious food, opened presents and played some uno. it was our first time hosting a real dinner party at our new home and i loved it!
What a great taste in music you have, love a bit of Bastille!
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how much I freaked out at your comment on my blog, my best friend is also called Shayla and in the entire 10 years I've known her we've never seen anyone with the same name as her! :')

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful weekend you had. I hope this week is just as good :)
This song- well, Bastille really- has been my life since I bought their album a while back. I cannot get over this band! Your weekend sounds so excellent. I'm glad life is going so so well for you :)
