every now and then it's important to take a trip down memory lane and go to a circa survive concert.
at least that's what nicolaus and i did last night.
for his birthday i bought him two tickets to the circa survive show in salt lake. they may be nothing more than a guilty pleasure band to him nowadays, but in high school they were one of his very favorites. he had never seen them live before so he was pretty excited about it. i was a little weary that i might get bored because i don't know their songs very well, but luckily i had nothing to worry about. their lead singer's voice is insane. i was so mesmerized the whole show and it even made me think i need to give post-hardcore music another chance...

Oh my gosh, Anthony Green was my favorite artist a few years ago! You needs to listen to the stuff he did solo, it's even better than Circa.
