morning walk in warrawee.

my brother, dad and i made it to australia monday morning and it's been one big happy blur of eating, family and eating since then. so when i was awake by six o'clock this morning (thank you jet lag) and my dad asked if i wanted to join him on a walk i gladly obliged. what i expected to be a morning stroll turned into an hour and a half power walking extravaganza. it felt good to get my blood flowing and heart pumping and burn a calorie or two. plus the australian vegetation and wildlife will never cease to amaze me. i mean, do those giant flowers from the first photo not look like they came straight out of a dr. seuss book?? i am in love with this place.

  2. oh my goodness, i am so jealous!!! my brother is currently serving an LDS mission in Australia, and the pictures he sends home are unreal! i am obsessed with the birds, and i am TERRIFIED of birds!! and i am with Emma. it definitely took me a second to realize that those were just super tall flowers. I was trying to figure out what camera angle you were using to make them look like that, before i realized they just looked like that... have so much fun!!
