nicolaus and i kept ours pretty simple.
we exchanged gifts, went to 
our favorite chilean restaurant pantrucas,
then came home and watched a movie.

one thing we did that i highly recommend 
for any couple to try,
 is leave our cellphones behind.

it was nice to just completely focus
on each other, without any sort of distraction.
we're busy enough with the rest of our lives,
that it was really good to forget about
everything else for a few hours
and just hang out with each other.

which is so fun by the way.
have i mentioned that nicolaus is my best friend
in the whole world? i can talk to 
him for hours without ever getting bored.
cellphoneless dates might become a more regular practice for us :)
