last week we headed up to the salt lake with a bunch of friends for some vietnamese food and an outdoor movie. it was a free screening of little miss sunshine that i hadn't seen since i was pretty young and it was even funnier than i had remembered! possibly because i didn't catch on to a lot of the humor before...ha, but it is one of those subtly hilarious classics that was made even better when surrounded by friends, cozied up with one million blankets and pillows, in the cool summer breeze under a massive nearly full moon and twinkling stars. these are the type of perfect nights that make me feel terrified to have summer slipping away so quickly...

One of my absolute favorite movies. I hope that one day I have a family who will get up on a stage with me and ugly dance like no one is watching. Also Steve Carell's speech about high school being prime suffering years but it being completely worth it is one of my favorite moments in film. What a great weekend!
